Victor Bernard Viola Bow, Brussels, Belgium, Spring 2021

*SOLD or NO LONGER AVAILABLE * Listing for archive purposes only. See viola bows tab for current inventory listings

An exquisite silver mounted viola bow by Victor Bernard, was made on the inspiration of a late 19th century F. Lupot model design. The bow is 72 grams, generating a sound that is warmly and smoothly nuanced with a sustained powerful tone, that is both wide, strong, and stable, along with an incisively quick and subtle quality, yet with powerful resilience in the stick. It fulfills everything one wants in a bow, long legato sustain to riccochet staccatissimo, superior performance in all aspects for the professional or discerning musician alike.
