*SOLD or NO LONGER AVAILABLE * Listing for archive purposes only, see violins bows tab for current inventory.

An exquisite silver mounted violin bow by Victor Bernard, was made on the inspiration of a late 19th century FX Tourte model of his design. The bow was to be presented as an Exposition example for the Salon du Violon in Lyon 2020 that was postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The bow is 59.9 grams, generating a sound that is warmly and smoothly nuanced with powerful tone, that is both wide, strong, stable, along with an incisively quick and subtle quality, yet with powerful resilience in the stick.
