This is an early, octagonal example of Morizot's work when he was working in Sartory's shop and collaborating with him.
It tracks well from frog to tip, powerful and rich with a blooming, focused tone. Very smooth tracking from frog to tip, powerfully rich and bloomingly focused tone. It feels supple in the hand but quickyl reaches a strong resisitance when needing to push out sound.
The bow is stamped and made for E. Boulangeot, Lyon.
