A superb and proficiently made violin by a talented maker from Poznań, Poland, Janusz Bryniarski, made in a PG form Strad model, made for the VSA (Violin Society of America) competition in 2024. The violin has clean lines, tasteful varnish, and precise workmanship, along with fine tonewood. It possesses a penetrating, sweet tone, that is even and smooth throughout all the positions and registers.
About Janusz:
Janusz Bryniarski began his journey with violin making at The Antoni Kenar School of Fine Arts in Zakopane, Poland. He graduated in 2020 and continued studying violin making at The Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. In 2023 he recieved his Bachelor of Arts degree and currently is studying for his Masters of Arts degree. In his work, Janusz pays attention to details striving for high quality workmanship, being inspired by the classic Cremonese tradition. He devotes his time with new making, refining his skills as a violin maker. In 2023, Janusz received a silver medal and prize at the 1st International W. Kamiński Violin Making Competition in Poznań, Poland.
