An aesthetically faithful reproduction of a violin made by Andrea Varazzani in Cremona, Italy in 2019 modeled after the Ysaÿe 1740 Guarneri del Gesù. In 2000, he graduates with his diploma at the “International Violinmaker School Antonio Stradivari” in Cremona with the direction of the teachers Massimo Negroni and Wanna Zambelli. He worked for five years with the Master Daniele Tonarelli where he improved his style and techniques. In 2006, he opened a workshop in Sesto Cremonese, town nearby Cremona. His works takes starting point from the classical Cremonese violinmaking school giving much attention at the materials and the sound quality. He uses alcohol and oil varnish with transparent and brilliant textures. In 2006, 2009, and 2015 he took part in the Tri-yearly International Contest of Arch Instruments “Antonio Stradivari”. In 2008, he took part in the National Contest of Violinmaker “Città di Pisogne” where he presented a violin and he won a bronze medal. Andrea is a member of the Consortium of Violinmakers “Antonio Stradivari” Cremona and he has the license for use the “Cremona Liuteria” trademark. He is a member of the Italian Lutherie Association (A.L.I.).
