This instrument is inspired and modeled after a Guarneri Del Gesu violin made in 1740, which was the primary instrument of Jascha Heifetz, who later bequeathed it the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco. The museum currently has granted loan of the priceless violin to Alexander Barantschik,  concertmaster of the San Francisco Symphony. 

The Heifetz Artist Series Guarneri violin is the highest grade brand production instrument sourced and specifically made by a select partner artisan workshop in China with stable and aged European tonewood for the Bay Fine Strings shop line.
